Silver Birch Developments has successfully gained planning permission for developments which have Grade II listing, and new builds and extensions within restricted green belt areas. We also have experience in dealing with conservation and heritage authority controlled buildings.
DESIGN & FLEXIBILITY
We pride ourselves in creating beautiful spaces which are unique to our client’s needs. For most people, developing their home or garden is one of the major undertakings of their lives and it’s therefore very important to us that the whole process is as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.
We also believe that projects should allow for design flexibility within planning constraints and building regulations. Therefore, during the build it’s no problem if a client wishes to contribute new ideas or alternative suggestions in order to maximise the outcome of their project.
PEACE OF MIND
If required, we can handle everything from architectural design and planning permission through to final completion. We employ architects, structural engineers, arboriculturists and building inspectors to ensure that all our work exceeds current building regulations, and that all relevant council departments receive the required documentation and proof of compliance. We supply all relevant documents, certifications and warranties upon completion.
All work undertaken is invoiced on a monthly basis with payment due within three days of receipt. This affords our clients the opportunity to take stock of materials and labour, and ensure they are happy with the work undertaken after each month and to date.
Our commissions range from £30,000 to £1,000,000 and we take all our jobs seriously and one step at a time.
Before commencement of any work, we lay the foundations for a smooth project by carrying out a site survey, listening to our client’s expectations, and getting an understanding of budget limitations.
Our itemised estimation is based on completing a project with no hidden costs, and includes a realistic timescale. We endeavour to ensure there are no surprises along the way.
After design and planning, we start construction as quickly, effectively and tidily as possible. Throughout the development, we remain in close contact with clients, discussing the work undertaken to date, what to expect over the coming days and weeks, issues which have arisen, amendments and alterations. We are as good as our word, listen to the people we work for, and deliver on time and as promised.
