This £720k, two-year new build project began with an empty field and finished with a luxury three-storey five-bedroom detached house.
In the initial stages, we produced all the necessary drawings and structural calculations in order to fulfil the requirements for planning permission and building regulations, including compliance for building control, SAP and ECP, and 10-year warranty.
Site clearance required the removal of 828 tonnes of earth - the equivalent of 647 Ford Focus cars - which involved respectfully overcoming serious issues within a conservation area.
The house was built on three levels which includes a double basement garage with a retaining wall. Furniture, fixtures and fittings include a German manufactured kitchen, utility room and boot room. We also installed a bespoke Italian glass staircase, and a living fire. Additionally, we arranged the connection of all utilities and the necessary drainage including an attenuation tank.
Our work on the project was completed with a driveway, all hard and soft landscaping, and appointment of civil engineers to construct a public highway.
